Apache PLC4X is an effort to create a set of libraries for communicating with industrial grade programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in a uniform way.

Apache PLC4X 1.0.0

In order to be able to work on PLC4X some tools have kindly been made available to Apache PLC4X committers.

Jetbrains offers Licenses to IntelliJ to Apache Committers for free

EJ-Technologies have also kindly provided us with JProfiler licenses in order to track down some concurrency and memory usage problems.
